Lego Introductions
Lego Introductions are a fun way to get to know one another. Everyone is asked to build a structure or form using Lego’s that represents him or her in some way. Once the structures are complete then each person takes a turn showing the others their creation while explaining what the structure represents about them.
Agile Concepts through Games
Do you have questions about Agile and how to get your teams to understand concepts? There are many methods to get teams to understand and embrace Agile.
Unlike other meet-ups, this is not a lecture. Instead, we will have coaching expertise to introduce a game in which we will all participate. The goal is that you will learn Agile concepts from game participation. In addition, you will be able to take what you have learned back to your teams.
Agile Penny Game — Modified
The Agile Penny Game has been around for about 10 years. I’m not certain who created the game. I’ve modified it to include lessons about value delivery and assessing value. The game results in learning some lean concepts including batch size, value delivery, making improvements, changing team members, and self-management. This document will outline the rules to play the game, supplies needed, and instructions for facilitating the game.
